Free Tajweed Trial Class

Understanding Tajweed is not only for the select few Muslims who choose to work on correcting their pronunciations of the Quran. Rather every believer of Islam must learn Tajweed and implement its components during the recitation of the Quran.

We understand that most of us don’t have a place to go and learn Tajweed. That is why Quraniah offers you a free Tajweed trial class so you can enhance your understanding of the Quran from the comfort of your home – for free!

What will you learn in the Free Tajweed Trial Class?

The free Tajweed trial is a glimpse into what our regular Tajweed classes offer. During the trial, you will get an introduction to some of our Tajweed modules

  1. Learn the stop signs and other symbols

Many symbols are repeated all over the Quran and misusing them can change the meaning of the divine verses. Learning these signs and their correct implications is an important part of Tajweed we cover in the free trial.

  1. Overview of the Noon and Meem Mushaddad Rules

In the trial class, you will get an overview of the rules of Gunnah (nasal sound) and the ways to merge them to the next letter. These are topics we cover in detail during our paid Tajweed classes.

  1. Overview of Noon Saakin  and  Tanween

If a Noon has a harakah above it or is accompanied by a sakoon, then the pronunciation will be different from a regular Noon sound. You will get an introduction to the Noon Saakin module in the trial class.

  1. Introduction to Laam Shamsyiah & Qamaryiah

The way to pronounce the letter Laam changes if it is followed by either a Huroof As-Shamsiyyah or any of the Huroof Al-Qamariyyah. You will briefly touch on this topic in the trial class.

  1. Introduction to Qalqalah

The exact letters where you can make a Qalqalah and the intensity of the echo sound are delicate topics of Tajweed that we introduce to you in our free trial class.

  1. The basis of Heavy and Light Letters

Not all Arabic letters are pronounced equally. We will cover the basics of how letters are qualified as heavy and light. And the circumstances in which some letters are pronounced in the opposite way of their original classification.

The Importance of Tajweed According to Allah SWT

You mustn’t overstress nor trivialize any word or haraf while reciting the Quran.  Allah SWT mentioned in the Quran [73:4]and recite the Qur’ān with measured recitation”.

Learning the correct pronunciation is your first step to memorizing and understanding the true meanings of Allah’s message. As a non-native who doesn’t understand Arabic, Tajweed can help you fully comprehend the sounds, accents and language-specific rules which will ultimately add more value to your recitations.
